Overview

Last updated October 6 2026. These License Terms govern every digital product, bundle, free item, update, preview, and downloadable file obtained through GoDesignsMarket. They form part of the Terms and Conditions. By purchasing, claiming, or downloading an item, you accept the license shown at checkout and recorded with your order.

A purchase gives you permission to use the licensed content. It does not transfer copyright, trademark rights, authorship, source ownership, or any other intellectual property right. The designer or other identified rights holder retains ownership. GoDesignsMarket administers the license and delivery on the rights holder's behalf.

If a product page contains product-specific license terms approved by GoDesignsMarket, those terms apply only to the extent they clearly add to these License Terms and do not contradict them. The license recorded in the order confirmation and license certificate controls if a product page later changes.

1 Definitions

Licensed Content means the files and creative material supplied with a product or bundle. End Product means a new physical or digital work that incorporates Licensed Content and is meaningfully different from the source. Client means a person or organization for whom you create one End Product. Seat means one individual who may access editable source files. Commercial License means the standard paid license. Extended Commercial License means the broader paid license described below. Membership License means the conditional license granted through an active membership.

A flattened or nonextractable file is a file from which an ordinary recipient cannot reasonably retrieve, separate, or reuse the Licensed Content. Merely changing colors, resizing, adding a name, placing the asset on a blank background, or saving it in another format does not by itself create an End Product.

2 Rules applying to every license

Every license is nonexclusive, nontransferable, nonsublicensable except for the limited client permission below, and valid worldwide where the intended use is lawful. The license belongs to the account that acquired the item. An individual account may use it for the account holder's own business. A business account may use it only through the number of Seats permitted by the selected license.

You may make reasonable backup copies and use contractors solely to help produce your End Product. Contractors must receive only the access necessary for that work, must protect the files, and must delete editable copies when the work ends. You remain responsible for their conduct.

You may create an End Product for one Client and transfer the finished, flattened End Product to that Client. You may not transfer the source files, the license itself, or a reusable template. The Client may use the delivered End Product for its intended purpose but may not extract or reuse the Licensed Content. A new Client requires a separate acquisition unless the applicable license expressly permits otherwise.

You are responsible for confirming that a product is compatible with your software, equipment, production method, and intended use before purchase. File formats, dimensions, resolution, and disclosed use of artificial intelligence appear on the product page.

3 Commercial License

The Commercial License permits one Seat to use the Licensed Content in personal projects and commercial End Products. You may sell or distribute up to 5,000 total physical units, printed units, or digital copies that incorporate the Licensed Content. The limit is cumulative across all versions, marketplaces, and sales channels.

Permitted uses include finished apparel, mugs, invitations, signs, packaging, printed marketing material, social media graphics, videos, websites, and other End Products in which the Licensed Content is combined with additional creative elements and cannot be extracted as a standalone asset.

Print-on-demand use is permitted only when the End Product is a finished design created by you and the provider receives the file solely to manufacture orders for you. Uploading the original asset, a minimally modified asset, or a reusable design to a print-on-demand library for use by other merchants is prohibited.

Digital products must be flattened, nonextractable, and created for a defined end use. The Commercial License does not permit editable templates, design generators, source-file kits, digital papers, clip-art collections, fonts, stock libraries, embroidery files, cutting files, or other products that allow the customer to reuse the Licensed Content unless the product page expressly authorizes that use.

4 Extended Commercial License

The Extended Commercial License includes the Commercial License permissions, removes the 5,000-unit limit, and permits up to five Seats within the same legal entity. It permits unlimited sales of qualifying End Products and use across that entity's brands, provided the Licensed Content is not distributed or exposed as a reusable source asset.

The Extended Commercial License does not permit resale of source files, sublicensing, sharing outside the licensed entity, contribution to stock or asset libraries, or use in a product whose primary value is access to the Licensed Content itself. It does not grant trademark exclusivity or ownership.

If a designer includes the Extended Commercial License in the regular product price, the order certificate will state that both licenses are included. If offered separately, the extended price is a complete alternative price rather than a surcharge added to the Commercial License price.

5 Membership License

An active monthly or annual membership grants one Seat an Extended Commercial License for each eligible item first downloaded through that membership while the membership remains active and in good standing. When the membership ends for any reason, the license for each item downloaded through it automatically becomes a Commercial License, and access to those files is preserved.

End Products completed while the membership was active may continue to be used and sold after it ends. From the moment the membership ends, any new or continued use of membership content is governed by the Commercial License, including the 5,000-unit limit. A direct purchase of the Extended Commercial License is never downgraded.

Redownloading the same item does not create a second license or a second designer-pool allocation. Monthly membership includes eligible individual products but not bundles. Annual membership includes eligible individual products and eligible bundles; downloading a bundle counts as one download of each included item the member has not previously downloaded. Items may become unavailable because of legal claims, security issues, removal, or policy enforcement.

6 Bundles free items and updates

A bundle license applies to each included item under the license selected for the bundle. You may not resell, redistribute, or recreate the bundle or any part of it as an asset collection. Owning some included items does not reduce the bundle price and does not create duplicate licenses. If every item is already owned under an equal or broader license, GoDesignsMarket may prevent the duplicate purchase.

A free item is licensed under the license displayed when claimed. Unless a different license is shown, a claimed free item receives the Commercial License. Claiming a free item is a one-time acquisition. If it later becomes paid, the license attached to the earlier claim remains valid for the version originally supplied.

Updates and corrected files form part of the original acquisition unless identified as a new product. A designer may replace defective files, but may not use an update to remove rights already granted. Access to a file may be blocked where continued distribution would be unlawful, unsafe, or infringing.

7 Prohibited uses

You may not sell, share, upload, redistribute, gift, lend, sublicense, or make Licensed Content available in source form; allow another person to extract it; claim it as your original work; register it or a confusingly similar element as a trademark, design right, or exclusive identifier; use it to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or build an artificial-intelligence model or dataset; use it in an unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, pornographic, exploitative, or rights-infringing manner; defeat access controls; or use automated systems to mass-download content.

You may not use Licensed Content as a logo or trademark where exclusivity is expected. Nonexclusive decorative use in branding material is permitted only if you understand that other customers may use the same content. You may not represent that GoDesignsMarket or the designer endorses you or your End Product.

You may not create competing stock, template, font, clip-art, craft-file, embroidery-file, printable, or digital-asset products from Licensed Content, whether free or paid, if recipients can use the underlying content in their own projects.

8 Artificial intelligence and third-party elements

Products containing artificial-intelligence-generated elements must be labeled by the designer. That label is informational and does not guarantee copyright eligibility, uniqueness, or freedom from similarity to other works. The designer warrants that the product may lawfully be offered and that any third-party elements are properly licensed.

You must independently assess trademark, publicity, privacy, regulatory, and suitability risks for high-risk uses such as logos, product packaging, political advertising, health claims, or regulated industries. No license grants rights in a person's likeness, a third-party brand, or other material not owned by the designer.

9 Termination and effect of refunds

A direct-purchase license is perpetual unless terminated for breach, refunded, reversed, or invalidated because the product was unlawful or infringing. A refund or successful chargeback ends the associated license and requires you to stop new use and delete source files. Finished inventory made before termination may be handled only as GoDesignsMarket confirms in writing or as mandatory law permits.

GoDesignsMarket may suspend access while investigating fraud, a chargeback, malware, or an intellectual-property claim. If the claim is resolved in your favor, access and the license may be restored. Termination does not erase payment obligations or provisions that by their nature should survive.

10 Contact language and changes

Questions about a license may be sent to legal@godesignsmarket.com. GoDesignsMarket may update these License Terms prospectively. Material changes will not reduce rights already attached to a completed direct purchase unless required by law or necessary to address infringement, security, or abuse.

The English version controls to the extent permitted by law. The Spanish version is provided for accessibility. Mandatory consumer rights and an order-specific license certificate prevail where they cannot lawfully be limited.
